The purpose of this study was to discuss the current status and the effects of entire school games from physical and health education teachers. The subjects were from 210 schools in Taipei County. There were 66 schools selected to investigate the programs in their school games. The study also selected 245 teachers in these 66 schools to evaluate the effects of the school games. The results showed that: 1. The sports games and track competition were the main programs in the school games. There were three types to hold school games: (1) multi-type, (2) recreational type and (3) competition type. 2. The teachers believed that holding schools games had good effects on their teaching. 3. In different ways to conduct the school games affects "training students to obey the rules" and "promoting leisure idea.", the study suggested that the school can adjust the program to achieve their goals.
