運動設施的數量多寡、規模大小、使用率的高低、科學管理的程度，可以反應一個國家地區的體育運動發展程度，也可以反應該國經濟、文化之水平，及國力雄厚之程度。另外，運動設施的功能又包含教學功能、賽會訓練功能、活動舉辦功能以及社會服務、場館營運等功能。綜觀上述，運動場地設施隨著時代的演變與科技的發達，其在功能性、場館變化型態方面都呈現嶄新的規劃趨勢，所以本研究目的在於分析目前國內運動設施於規劃時所需考量的整體因素，並提出運動設施規劃與建築時相關參酌意見。本研究採用文獻分析法，將所蒐集之場館建置與設計規劃等相關資料內容進行分析，並配合室內外運動場館規劃的期刊文獻內容加以整理、歸納作進行研究探討。綜而言論，從以往至現今的運動設施材質及類型變化可以發現，多樣性及多功能性的運動型態變化空間、場地方位及面材選擇、室內外運動設施的燈光照明及運動草坪等等，已經是未來國內建置運動設施不可或缺的考量因素。也可以說運動設施型態逐漸轉變，其目的都是在讓民眾便予使用與提升安全性，另一方面也是替國內運動設施設置高品質的場管設施，對其維護與管理之機制建立又有輔助之效益。

The amount of sport facilities, their sizes and the frequency of being utilized reflect the extent of sport development in a country. Furthermore, they reflect the standard of economics and culture in this country and its strength. In addition to the functions of sport facilities include providing education, giving training prior games, holding activities, giving social services and ensuring the well-running business of the gyms. To generalize all these factors, the sport facilities and gyms are changing and improving with the development of techniques by time. It also reveals the latest trends in planning the functions and the design of the gyms. Hence, this study aims to analyze the considerable factors before the professions plan to put up the sport facilities, and to provide suggestions to those who plan to formulate the sport facilities and relevant constructions. By using the research method of literature review, this study gathered, induced and generalized relevant journal articles, theses and dissertations and internet information for further discussion. The results showed that from the changes of the qualities and types of sport facilities in the past to the current situation, the varied types and multi-functional sport spaces, the directions and qualities of these sport fields, the illumination of indoor and outdoor sport places and the sport greenswards are necessary considerable factors. In other words, the styles of sport facilities are changing; the goals are to provide the convenience and safety to the public and to offer a high quality managing facilities to the sport facilities in this country. This will not only help professions to establish but also to develop the maintenance and management system.
