This report is pragmatically concerned with how a Japanese writing class was conducted from November 2008 to January 2009, taking as its theme “An Interview with the Japanese students and a reportage to be written thereafter” Participatants were 31 students, most of whom are the third year college students. Included in this paper is an evaluation of the curricular design, its specific procedures, and students’ evaluation directed to the program, and some practical classroom tactics.
