Scheduling is important in human resource management; it has to coordinate the executive and personnel demands. Along with the nursing informatics utilization, this article is presented by Rogers DOI theory, describing superiority of the informatics technology, and develops scheduling system by end user computing in order to improve workflow. The benefits compared with the original bill were: 1. time saving, computing scheduling designed in a series of works, comprised schedule preparation, requests, scheduling, adjustment and printing automatically, and additional function of information inquiry; 2. Improved nursing staff's degree of satisfaction. A successful innovation, had five special characteristics: relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, trial ability, and observation. Besides, the innovation also fitted users' needs, encouraged members' participation, communication and revision. The experience of the DOI process can be possibly useful as references in clinical setting.
