一、軍隊後勤建設，是隨著作戰的需求而發展，而後勤是以支援作戰為目的，後勤之能力將是制約著戰略（作戰）構想的遂行，影響作戰任務成敗的關鍵。 二、中共軍事後勤未來發展之特點有：提升後勤應急保障能力；建設後勤保障資訊化網路；積極籌建地方動員力量；建構一專多能之後勤人才；強化後勤保障之合成演訓等。 三、聯合作戰之「聯合後勤」，強調要透過降低或消除限制或障礙，以促進過程之速度，達到計畫性或臨時性的資源共享；即聯合後勤在整合調配資源，以充分發揮作戰效能。 四、後勤支援之能量主要體現於作戰效能的發揮。然而，效能積蓄於組織結構和高科技在軍事上的發展，其應用最終是歸結於武器裝備，藉武器裝備系統之需求與妥善率等效能，以促進後勤支援之整體發揮。

1. Military logistic development evolves along with operation requirements and the objective of logistics is to support operation needed. The strength of logistics will restrict strategic planning that will be executed and, therefore, is the key to influence the outcome of operation. 2. The characteristics of future development of PLA's military logistics are: promoting rapidly logistic support capability, constructing logistic support IT network, actively preparing local mobilization strength, frosting qualified logistic personnel with multiple capabilities, and strengthening logistic support through integrated exercises and training. 3. Joint logistic facilitates joint operation, especially, through reducing or eliminating restrictions or obstacles in order to speed up processing and attain planned or temporary resource sharing. “Joint logistic” integrates and deploys resources to maximize operational efficiency. 4. The outcome of operational effectiveness is litmus of the capability of logistic support. However, the accumulation of effects is based on an integrated development of organization and advanced military technology. Consequently, the requirements of weapon systems and their availability demonstrate how the effectiveness of logistic support.
