Abstract NAIC (National Association of Insurance Commissioners) represents a voluntary organization of the chief insurance regulatory officials of the 50 states. It contains 85 financial and market regulatory databases and applications. And the most distinguishing databases are the Financial Data Repository and Valuation of Securities. In this article, we will introduce how NAIC manages these databases and delivers what kind of services to serve the state insurance department for the need of financial solvency. Besides, we also introduce how we can learn from the NAIC to promote the correctness and utilization of databases of the Taiwan insurance industry
