The study used questionnaire survey method, 23 workers, working in nursing homes, healthcare centers, or special service areas for dementia and associations attended this study. The results used descriptive statistics. It was found that A. people with mild and moderate dementia use assistive technology with cognitive functions the most; B. the purpose for using assistive technology products primarily focuses on boosting their sense of reality; and C. one will accept and use assistive technology based on the properties of convenience, practicality and efficacy; D. lots of participators disagree with the price of the assistive technology is reasonable. Based on the findings, following suggestions were given: A. increase the diversity and range of selection of cognitive assistive products; B. offer related measures and raise the amount of subsidies considering the rising needs of cognitive assistive devices; C. provide on-job training for caregivers to maximize the function of assistive technology products.
