女性自停經開始起算的前 5 年是骨質流失最快速的時期,在這期間,減緩或預防骨質的流失是一項重大議題及努力方向。運動對停經後婦女的骨質密度影響持續受到關注,雖然大多數學者支持運動對骨質密度有正面的助益,但運動或身體活動的類型對停經後婦女骨質密度的影響尚未完全確立。本文針對停經後婦女所設計的運動類型,大致歸納成負重式耐力活動/地面反作用力、阻力訓練/關節作用力、整合型運動與水中運動等 4 種運動型態,統整不同運動型態對骨質的影響與效果,以期提供停經後婦女骨質保健的建議以及未來研究趨勢,讓停經後婦女在後段三分之一的人生享有更好的生活品質。
