通過對鄭愁予新詩「空白」的研閱，可證其作品實屬「可寫的文本」，具有多種讓讀者介入的可能。「生產性讀者」銳意於為文本帶來新詮釋，借重「誤讀」，鄭愁予詩甚至可與尾田榮一郎漫畫《航海王》建立連結
The blank-leaving skills of Zheng Chouyu are highly valued and they contribute to the conclusion that the poems of Zheng are writerly rather than readerly. Through the tactics of ＂Misreading＂, a productive reader can even build up a linkage between Zheng's poems and ODA Eiichirō's ＂One Piece＂ so as to liberate the text from any kinds of interpretive tyranny
