Wen-zhou St. is close to the National Taiwan University (NTU). After the national government moved to Taiwan, the community of Wen-zhou St. has no big change. Generally, people living in this neighborhood are well-educated, including the NTU faculty, students, scholars who teach in nearby schools, and even some politicians. The whole atmosphere here is significantly different from all the other places in Taipei. Due to its unique history and location, the Wen-zhou St. is not just a street to live in but also a place where writers get inspiration from and depict about. However, these articles are usually read separately or studied about the writing context at most. Few of researchers put them together for integrated discussion. In this study, all kinds of essays describing Wen-zhou Street are collected, especially proses. ”The story of Wen-zhou Street” by Li, Yu is also a reference. Firstly, the author drew Wen-zhou Street picture from these writings and discussed if there are any characteristics in common. Secondly, this study explored how Wenzhou Street imaginations constructed from one by one writing effect the successive writers. Furthermore, writers live and study in Wen-zhou Street with all these imaginations. How they look Wen-zhou Street after personal experience and how they write their own Wen-zhou Street stories different from senior writers are also discussed. In the end, the author summarized the meaning and value of Wen-zhou Street writing to the writers, the city and the readers as a conclusion.
