本研究目的是探討10週階梯有氧運動對停經後女性在功能性體適能與步態的影響。此為方便取樣試驗,徵召32名健康的靜態生活之停經後女性,並隨機分成運動組或對照組。對照組維持其正常作息,運動組則參與每週三次、持續10週的中等強度階梯有氧運動。在實驗前、後進行基本資料測量、功能性體適能、自然步行速度與快速步行速度之步態表現量測。結果發現經過10週後,運動組能維持其體重與身體組成,且功能性體適能顯著進步;而對照組則在體重與椅子坐立顯著增加,其他各項功能性體適能皆未改變。在步態分析結果顯示,兩組在自然步行速度方面各變項皆未顯著改變;然而,在快速步行速度方面,運動組在走路速度顯著增加、各時間變項皆顯著縮短,但對照組則未改變。此外,在運動介入後的快速步行速度與功能性體適能變項呈顯著相關。此研究結論為10週階梯有氧運動介入可能對停經後女性的功能性體適能有直接的影響並能提升快速步行的表現。
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of 10-week step aerobics exercise (SAE) on functional fitness and gait patterns in postmenopausal women. This was a convenient sampling trial, recruited 32 sedentary healthy postmenopausal women, and randomly assigned them into either exercise group (EG) or control group (CG). The participants in CG maintained their normal daily activities, and the EG participants attended a moderate-intensity SAE program, 3 times per week for 10 weeks. Anthropometric measurements, functional fitness, and gait performance at the preferred walking speed (PWS) and fast walking speed (FWS) were determined before and after experimental period. The results showed that 10 weeks SAE maintained the body weight and body composition in EG with significantly improved functional fitness. However, body weight and chair stand in CG were significantly increased without change in functional fitness . The gait assessment data showed that both groups had no significant change in gait pattern at PWS. However, at FWS, EG showed significantly increased walking speed, and reduced time in temporal variables, while there was no change in the CG. In addition, a significant correlation between post-intervention FWS and functional fitness parameters was noticed. This study concluded that 10-week SAE intervention may have a direct influence on functional fitness and enhances the performance at fast walking speed.
