The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between motivation of exercise participation and social support for elementary school table tennis players of Yunlin county. A self-compiled questionnaire has been developed for investigation of "motivation of exercise participation and social support." Take 80 table tennis players from Yunlin elementary schools as the sample for this research, analyzing the data by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's product- moment correlation and regression analysis. The comprehensive summaries are as following: 1. The degree of "motivation of exercise participation" of elementary school table tennis players in Yunlin elementary school was average. 2. The degree of "social support" of elementary school table tennis players in Yunlin elementary school was average. 3. The elementary school table tennis players' "Motivation of Exercise Participation" in Yunlin elementary school is different due to grades, years of participant .Gender, weekly practice hours are not. 4. The elementary school table tennis players' "social support" in Yunlin elementary school is different due to grades. Gender, years of participant, weekly practice hours are not. 5. There is a significant positive correlation between "exercise participative motivation and Social Support" of elementary school table tennis players in Yunlin elementary school. 6. There was the significant prediction of the elementary school table tennis players' exercise participative motivation to social support has significant predictive power.
