　　　　　External environment plays a very important role on the influences of organizations. The purpose of this paper is to emphasize this influences. It discussesthe various approaches that are employed as an external control of organizations. It also discusses the major schools of thought on the external environmentas a means to distinguish between public and private organizations. Finally, thispaper deals with the major similarities and differences between theseapproaches.
