     Today's business environment has evolved into an unprecedented complexity calling for new competitive strategies, business processes, and organizational structures. Companies also need to rebuild their work groups and to innovate their corporate knowledge to become smarter. In short, to confront this challenge requires creation of knowledge organization. The author proposes that to build a knowledge organization is to construct an online zone of proximal development (ZPD) on information networks. Information networks allow knowledge workers to acquire organizational knowledge without the boundaries of time and space and thus construct the ZPD. Knowledge can be developed by computer-supported apprenticeship and computer-supported collaborative works. This article wrapes up with an elaboration of three features creating from this "networked" knowledge organization.
