　　　　　護理專業養成教育並未普遍注重死亡教育，而在臨床實務中護理人員又常需照 顧瀕死及死亡病患，如何照護瀕死兒童，更是小兒科護理人員所關切的課題。本篇分別就 兒童死亡概念的發展、瀕死兒童的反應、以及瀕死兒童的護理，提出相關文獻與經驗分享 。期能幫助護理人員瞭解瀕死兒童的行為，且發揮護理的獨特功能，陪伴家屬共同幫助瀕 死兒童走向死亡。
