「研究方法與論文寫作」課程的重點之一，在於資料的蒐集與整理，並 透過文獻的整理與分析，找出研究的主題與方向。因此圖書館的使用，遂成為此 課程重要的一環。本文即是探討在電腦網路時代，圖書館(甚至於網路圖書館)在 此課程所應扮演的角色。「研究方法與論文寫作」課程在圖書利用訓練上，應結 合專業學科與圖書資訊專長，為各個學門設計一套符合專業研究的教育流程與教 材，以提昇各學門對蒐集資料的專業水準。在此以筆者專長英美文學為例，結合 圖書資訊專長，試圖勾畫出一跨學科的課程內涵與教學模式。

　　　　　One of the concentrations in Research Methods and Thesis Writing is on the datacollection and analyses, through which the researcher can easily locate his study concerns andidentify new research directions. The use of the library thus becomes one of the core coursesin the academic research. This paper aims at exploring the role of the library in thisacademic training. With an emphasis on the coordination between literature training andlibrary instruction, the authors attempt to initiate an interdisciplinary course model forliterature teachers and students.
