     下肢損傷的骨科病人常基於醫療上的需要,必須局部地限制肢體的活動 (immobilization),而影響病人本身負荷體重的能力。因無法站立而導致的長期臥床,更衍 生了如肌肉萎縮無力、骨密度降低、關節不穩定等合併症,而延遲病人的復原。病患及家屬 往往不知道運動開始的時機與步驟,而不適當的復健運動亦衍生了諸多的合併症。因此如何 在保護性活動限制的治療前題下,給予適時的護理措施而促使病人達到最大的活動力及最佳 的康復指標是十分重要的。本文將由骨癒合的觀點來探討活動限制的必要性與其合併症、相 關的研究發現、及復健運動的時機、步驟與內容,及護理措施。
