在歷任的國際關係委員會主任委員中，范豪英教授曾報告民國73年-77年間我國圖 書館事業的國際關係近況， 張鼎鍾理事長亦曾回顧 78 年 -80 年間中國圖書館學會國際專 業活動之參與。本屆國際關係委員會召集人接續「四十年來的國際學術文化交流」一文，淺 述民國 83-87 年間五年來學會國際交流的活動， 並介紹國際資訊與文獻聯盟、國際圖書館 協會聯盟、美國圖書館學會、美國資訊科學學會、專門圖書館協會、技術大學圖書館國際學 會等重要的國際圖書館協會，供同道參考。

　　　　　As the chairperson of the International Relations Committee of the Library Association of China, the author first summarizes the international activities during 1994-1998, introduces several international professional associations, such as the International Federation for Information and Documentation, the International Federation of Library Associations & Institutions, the American Library Association, the Special Libraries Association, the International Association of Technological University Libraries, etc. for recommendations, and offers relevant suggestions at the end of the paper.
