In order to solve the problem of the shortage of manpower, it is necessary for public libraries to use the social resources. To make good use of volunteer workers, we take practical measures. For example, emphasize the publicity of the information of volunteer service, train the volunteer teenagers and groups, and put stress on the volunteer service culture, so that we can develop the potentials of volunteer workers in the library. Meanwhile, after that, we must follow the rules of volunteer training, design the goal, integrate the courses, choose the methods and teachers carefully, and evaluate the results in order that we can efficiently train the volunteer workers and help the public libraries to develop all kinds of activities.
