There is the doubt about the glacial processes in Taiwan alpine regions, but still few researches for the topic of glacial formative during the Last Glaciation. It is certain that the glacier forms above the snowline. So this study focuses on the topic of snowline, according to the condition of snowline formative, modern Taiwan alpine weather data and paleoclimate in the evidence of pollen. This study reveals that the snowline in Taiwan now is 4314m a.s.l., and descended to 3500∼3600m a.s.l. during the Last Glaciation.
