　　　　　臺灣高山區冰河遺跡的爭議有正反兩方論點，但無人對臺灣高山各種發生冰河條件作全面性的探討。雪線是發生冰河的必要條件，所以第四紀冰期有無雪線發生，對論述臺灣高山有無冰河作用，是項重要証據。本研究根據發生雪線的基本自然特性，和臺灣現在高山的氣候環境，以及依據花粉所重建的上次冰期古氣候環境，嘗試以雪線年積量與消融量平衡線所在原理的理論雪線模式，推估臺灣高山區現在與上次冰期晚期的理論雪線高度。研究結果顯示，臺灣高山區現在理論雪線高度在4314公尺處，上次冰期晚期雪線則在3500∼3600公尺間。
　　　　　There is the doubt about the glacial processes in Taiwan alpine regions, but still few researches for the topic of glacial formative during the Last Glaciation. It is certain that the glacier forms above the snowline. So this study focuses on the topic of snowline, according to the condition of snowline formative, modern Taiwan alpine weather data and paleoclimate in the evidence of pollen. This study reveals that the snowline in Taiwan now is 4314m a.s.l., and descended to 3500∼3600m a.s.l. during the Last Glaciation.
