國際人類學與民族學聯合會是世界人類學民族學最有影響的學術團體。從近十多年來四屆世界大會和最近一次中期會議的主題變化,如第14屆"21世紀:人類學的世紀",第15屆"人類/自然的相互作用:過去、現在和未來",第16屆"人類、發展與文化多樣性",第17屆"培養人文精神、面對現實世界",2014年中期會議"人類學的未來"。可以看出:當今世界各國各地區人類學民族學變得越來越面對現實社會,出現了專業化、組織化、區域化等三大趨勢。如果說21世紀的人類學民族學就是亞洲的人類學民族學,那么,經過第16屆世界大會洗禮、最近幾屆世界大會和中期會議錘煉的中國人類學民族學,未來在亞洲、在世界範圍,可能將發揮更積極的作用、扮演更重要的角色。

The International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences( IUAES) is the most influential academic association of international anthropology and ethnology. Over the past ten years,the four world congresses and one recent mid-session were held around different topics( such as "The 21 st Century,the Century of Anthropology " of the 14 th congress; "The Past,Present and Future of Human / Nature Interaction"of the 15 th congress; "Humanity,Development and Cultural Diversity "of the 16 th congress;"Evolving Humanity,Emerging Worlds"of the 17 th congress; and"The Future of Anthropology"of the midsession of 2014). This shows that the study on anthropological and ethnological sciences in different parts of the world is more and more related to real society with three trends of being professionalized,organized and regionalized. If anthropology and ethnology in the 21 st century is regarded as anthropology of Asia,then,after the 16 th congress and the recent mid-session of the world congress,Chinese anthropology and ethnology will play a positive and important role in Asia and the world in the future.
