Several types of rhyme and tone of Chung Ku Ju Sheng Tzu (中古入聲字) in Shan Hsi dialect (山西方言) are discussed in this article. According to whether it has Ju Sheng (入聲) in tone system, and whether tone of Tzu Cho Ju (次濁入) goes with Ching Ju (清入), we can conclude all the situations of tone into six species. In the aspect of rhyme, we first divide all kinds of rhyme into four species according to amounts of vowel number in the system of Chung Ku Tu Sheng Yun. Then we will discuss Ju Sheng rhyme in Shan Hsi dialect by the line of nine Yang Sheng Tun She of the medieval age (中古陽聲韻攝). Besides finding out the characteristics of Chung Ku Ju Sheng Tzu in Shan Hsi dialect, we also describe the differences between Shan Hsi and Kuan Kua (官話) dialect in our conclusion.
