Zi-Guang Wu was a very important litterateur and historian of Taiwan in Ching Dynasty, his "Collection of a Belly" has enjoyed great popularity and well known among learned people. In his old age, Zi-Guang Wu built "Two Peaks Straw Hall" down at Two Peaks Mountain in Tongluo Township, Hsinchu County of Tamsui T'ing, as his place for living and posterity. Upon the completion of straw hall, he wrote down〈Two Peaks Straw Hall Notes〉which was consisted of 9 articles to memorize this event, furthermore,〈Notes on Sacrifices Offering at Two Peaks Summit〉、〈Notes on Kitchen God of Two Peaks Straw Hall〉were also a series of works written down in the same year. These 11 works of literature were deeply affected by the literature works of "random thoughts style" from Liu,Zong-Yuan; Ouyang, Xiu; Su, Zhe; additionally he applied textual criticism into articles to form his unique literature style. Terse and sophisticate, visible or invisible skills, toss and turn, and therefore thoroughly gained the 3 essential notions of ancient literature creation. These consecutive 9 articles positioned 「Two Peaks Straw Hall」as center, applied with repeat writing, were strung up continuously. Each article had its own subject, but tightly linked with the others, all had individual artistic conception and feature with considerable ingenuity. Using too much allusive and bookish is his defect. This paper applied 4 dimensions: positional view noting, rhetoric skills, methodicalness gist, and work characteristics, to discuss rhetoric skills and article gist, also recall their allusions and origins, detect trace, so as to manifest the characteristics of this work set.
