In 1141, Emperor Gaozong of the Southern Song Dynasty implemented a centralized policy of the military affairs. General Zhang Jun, Yue Fei and Han Shi-Zhong were appointed to their military duties in the central authorities. In order to control these military corps, Gaozong also established three Logistics officers at Hui-don, Hui-xi and Er-zhou. Moreover, Gaozong was ambitious and envious. He allowed Qin Kuai to frame some loyal courtiers, for example, Han Shi-Zong and Yue Fei. For this, Yue Fei was framed to die. In this process, these Logistics officers were important roles. In 1145, Gaozong added another Logistics officer at Si-Chuan, in order to limit Lieutenant General Zheng Gong-zhong’s power. The article analyzed and discussed the roles and the functions of these four Logistics officers for the Emperor Gaozong’s military centralized policy.
