老年人口正快速的增加,如何改善老年人的健康問題並延長其壽命是一門重要的課題。勇敢面對老年危機的轉變與挑戰並適時的調整健康行為,將可化為轉機。「健走」是生活中最基本、最簡易,且最不受外在因素限制與干擾的體能活動,其有助於增加人體的心肺功能、強化骨頭、肌肉力量、還有解除壓力、控制體重及延緩老化等許多好處。而走路如果搭配計步器的使用將有助於刺激老人走更多的路,帶來更多的健康益處。於是本研究嘗試探討走路是否有助於老人的健康,並且評估計步器是否可作為促進走路的工具。藉以回顧現有的國內外文獻,推估走路與計步器對於老人的成效。
The elderly population is rapidly increasing, how to improve the health of the elderly and the extension of its life expectancy is an important topic. Bravely facing the changes and challenges of aging crisis and the timely adjustment of health behavior, will be able to turning adversity into opportunity. "Walking" is the most basic and simple activity in the life, which unrestricted by the external factors and interference with physical activity. It helps increase the cardiopulmonary function, and strengthen bones, muscle strength, as well as the lifting of the pressure, weight control, delay aging and many other benefits. Besides, pedometers used will help to stimulate the elderly walking more, and become healthier. Hence, present study attempted to discover whether walking are able to improve the health of the elderly, furthermore, to assess whether the pedometer can be used as a tool to promote walking. To review of existing literatures, evaluates the effectiveness of walking and pedometers in elderly.
