The study aims at evaluating the feasibility of the affiliated pet lodgings in Taiwan hotels through surveys and interviews. The statistic result shows that 70% of the interviews have basic recognition with the service provides by pet lodgings, 45% of the Interviewees how great" willingness for bringing their pet with them when they travel. Regarding the travelling spots, leisure centers with large space are the best choice. As far as the pet lodgings are concerned, clean environment, air circulation, special smell, and sanitary treatment are highly regarded. In pet service, activity area, pet food, professional vet, and medical equipment are emphasized. Regarding the room type. 59.6% prefer some special rooms that pets can live with their masters. As for pet fringe products, 70.5% has shopping expectation. As for pet monopoly products, 77.2% shows highly shopping willingness. 88% hotel staff expects to affiliate pet lodgings and market "pet travelling" projects. Above 90% considers the diversity of hotel products is the greatest competitive advantage. To sum up, affiliated pet lodging is an innovative challenge and business.
