This study explores the digital archives and possible value-added applications of glove-puppet show in Taiwan in order to promote the culture of this traditional technique. The in-depth interview method was used to understand the status of digital archives and the future development of valueadded applications for glove-puppet show. The results are as follows: (1) preservation and the ease of use are the main reasons for the digitization of the collection of glove-puppet show; (2) collection holders and project implementers are well positioned; (3) it is helpful for the continuity of the culture of glove-puppet show; (4) the biggest difficulty is the lack of financial and human resources for follow-up maintenance; (5) need of using today's technology, such as the proliferation of real, APP and 3D print to create a variety of value-added applications of glove-puppet show.
