諮商工作焦慮為影嚮諮商員諮商效能之重要因素。督導者必須知道諮商員的焦慮程度，以便給予適當的協助。目前國內尚無評量諮商員焦慮之適當工具。本研究目的即在編訂適於評估我國準諮商員諮商工作焦慮之工具，以供諮商實習督導之用。同時，探討準諮商員在諮商工作中之焦慮因素。 本研究因受限於資料蒐集之困難，分為兩階段進行。本次完成第一階段工作，主要為編製預試題本，經預試資料整理，考驗預試題本之信度、效度和進行項目分析。結果發現，本量表初步具有良好之信度和效度。並經過項目分析之後，編製成一個共有105個題項之題本。此外，尚發現特質焦慮與諮商工作焦慮有顯著性正相關。 未來在第二階段工作，將一方面繼續進行本量表之信、效度考驗，另方面對於諮商工作焦慮進行因素分析。同時，繼續探討特質焦慮與諮商工作焦慮之關係。
Although current research and articles in the area of counseling supervision have been getting more, there are very few instruments available for use in assessing variables that are important in supervising trainees in counseling. This research is aimed at development of an instrument that is designed to measure counselor trainees' counseling anxiety. Using an open-questionnaire, a pool of 119 items relevant to counseling anxiety was obtained from fifty-four student trainees who were enrolling in supervised counseling practicum. This group of trainees consist of four doctor level students, seven master level students and forty-three undergraduates. The initial list was then submitted to a new group of ninety-nine student trainees for their ratings of anxiety level on each item. The statistical reliabilities and validities were obtained for each subscale and the total instrument. In addition, That trait anxiety has a significantly positive relation with counseling anxiety was found. Suggestions for future research to improve the reliability and validity of the instrument are given.
