目的︰比較12項中國人健康量表在不同研究的因素分析情況。方法︰以分層隨機取樣方式從台南市七個區中選取20歲以上的家庭成員，然後邀請他們到醫院的健檢病房接受各項的身心健康檢查，其中包括填寫12項中國人健康量表。結果︰共有1585人完成此量表測試，男女比例相當，平均年齡43.6±15.3歲，量表內在一致性0.74，分數在4及4分以上者佔11.5%，女性比例較高，年齡和量表所呈現的輕型精神疾患未達確定關係；在因素分析方面，共粹取出3個因素，即身體症狀、憂鬱及失眠與多慮，這和之前國內外研究的結果類似。結論︰12項中國人健康量表之因素分析在不同族群的研究皆呈現類似的結果，顯示不同文化下的精神病理表現有其共通性。因而此量表可適用於不同樣本之輕型精神疾患篩檢。

　　　　　Objective: This study compared the factor structures of the GHQ-12 and the CHQ-12. Methods: A stratified random household sample of individuals were recruited from a city in southern Taiwan and invited to attend a health screening program at a general hospital. The subjects had a series of cross-sectional assessments, including psychiatric screening using the CHQ-12. Results: There were 1585 subjects who completed the psychiatric assessment with the CHQ-12. The number of males and females was approximately equal, and the mean age was 43.6±15.3. The Cronbach's alpha of the CHQ-12 was 0.74. Using cut-off scores (4/3), the one-month prevalence rate of minor psychiatric morbidity was 11.5%. A female preponderance in morbidity was found, but the association between age and morbidity was controversial. A principal component analysis extracted 3 factors, accounting for 48.3% of the total variance. These factors included somatic symptoms and concern, depression, and insomnia and worrying, which were compatible with those of the GHQ-12 investigated in previous studies. Conclusion: The similarity in the factor structure, other than the somatic factor, between the CHQ-12 in Taiwan and the GHQ-12 in other countries suggests that there is considerable similarity in the cross-cultural psychopathology of mental disorders. This study shows that the CHQ-12 can be a useful psychiatric screening tool in an epidemiological survey. A criterion against which the CHQ can be validated is needed.
