全球暖化是當今面臨的最大困難,也是人類文明發展以來面對的最大挑戰。我們面對的是高溫的未來,地球環境將因人為溫室氣體含量增加而更劇烈的調整與改變,極端氣候已成為常態。藉由綠色消費行為,能以消費-生產的經濟循環模式,促使企業廠商在消費者需求導向下發展綠色生產,並將工業社會大量浪費的消費型態,轉變成為提升資源與使用效率且符合環保的綠色消費模式,本研究顯示履行綠色消費行為必須仰賴個人自我概念約束力的提升。本研究目的以Bandura(1982)提出的社會認知理論(Social Cognitive Theory, SCT)為核心,發展出綠色消費行為的研究模式,藉以探討當今大眾的綠色消費行為是如何受到外在環境、個人自我概念與結果預期等因素的影響。研究結果發現,個人自我概念(包含自我監督、自我形象、自我偏好與綠色消費行為之自我效能,特別是綠色消費行為之自我效能最為顯著)、個人結果預期、外在環境之社會規範約束力,對於綠色消費行為具有顯著性的影響;另一方面,綠色消費行為之結果預期、外在環境之氣候變遷影響力與媒體傳播影響力,對於綠色消費行為的影響程度卻不具有顯著性。
