目的：本研究目的主要在於了解精神分裂症患者對其雙親教養態度之看法。方法：本研究採個案對照法，病患組83位，對照組160位。由受試者填寫中文版的雙親教養態度量表 (parental bonding instrument, PBI) 及基本資料，以收集其十六歲以前對父母教養態度之知覺。結果：研究結果顯示疾病組在父親保護、母親保護因素上的得分，顯著高於對照組；對照組在母親關懷因素上，顯著高於疾病組；個案性別對PBI之得分未有影響；　在邏輯迴歸分析中，父親保護因素與罹患精神分裂症有顯著正相關；父親或母親「高保護低關懷」之教養態度皆比「高關懷低保護」之教養態度與罹患精神分裂症相關性高2倍多；　父母之教養態度皆為高危險群（高保護低關懷）對罹患精神分裂症的影響最大。結論：對過去雙親教養的負向覺察可能是造成個案發展「脆弱性」的重要因子，而此脆弱性可能造成日後發展為精神分裂症，有關討論與應用在文中有進一步說明。

　　　　　Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate parental rearing styles, as perceived by patients with schizophrenia. Methods: A case-controlled design was used, with 83 schizophrenic patients and 160 controls completing the Chinese version of the Parental Bonding Instrument (PBI). A measure of perceived parental characteristics, the instrument was used to rate subject's perception of parental care and protection. Results: Analysis of the results revealed that: (1) patients differed significantly from controls in their perception of the protection provided by both parents, and by their mothers; (2) there were no significant differences for PBI scores comparing subject gender; (3) only subjective perception of paternal protection was related to schizophrenia from logistic regression analysis; (4) the subjects with maternal or paternal PBI scores defined as high risk had more than two-times the chance of developing schizophrenia; (5) subjects with PBI scores for both parents defined as high risk had the greatest chance of developing schizophrenia. Conclusion: Our results suggest that negative experience of parental rearing may be an important factor which is related to the subsequent development of, or vulnerability to, schizophrenia.
