注意力缺陷過動正宇資優行為特性接近,部份資優生又同時合併於ADHD問題,因此在鑑定上的困難度更高;ADHD資優學生通常其資優程度越高,其ADHD的問題越晚被發現,有些兒童因為ADHD的行為特性,其優異的潛能沒有被發掘。錯誤或是延滯的鑑定,讓這些兒童沒有得到適當的教育資源,或是其ADHD問題沒有得到適當的治療與輔導。研究顯示,雖然ADHD資優學生有相當高的智力表現,但有相當比例學業低成就,人際關係不佳,情緒低落,在團體中有相當多的違反規定及衝突行為,家長缺乏適當的資訊了解孩子的行為及能力。本文將由探討ADHD兒童、資優生及ADHD資優生的行為、能力特性,進而提出ADHD資優兒童鑑定及未來研究的建議。
