“Da Tong-The Great Commonwealth” and “Xiao Kang-Well-off” mentioned in “Li Yun”, one of chapters in “Records of Rites”, were commended by You-Wei Kang, while “The World Belongs to the People” presented in “Li Yun” was also highly praised by Dr. Sun Yes-sen. Therefore, “Li Yun” has been considered important in modem Chinese history especially. With regard to one chapter titled “Exposition on Dislocation for the First Paragraph in Li Yun” in “General Theory of Rites Scriptures” by Yi-Chen Shao of Qing Dynasty, Shao thought there appeared dislocation in “Li Yun”. Shao advocated moving twenty-six words in the first paragraph of “Li Yun” from “Xiao Kang” to section of “Da Tong”, thus restoring the original look for words of the first paragraph in “Li Yun”. After giving study in many aspects, this essay goes contradict evidences brought up by Shao. The conclusion derived from our study indicates that Shao's advocates do not come into existence. Even some modem scholars echo Shao's advocates. Notwithstanding, opinions brought up by those scholars can hardly convince people. To be aimed at their opinions, this essays.
