公關功能對許多組織而言,越來越重要,公共關係本質上又有「全球視野,在地行動」的特色,不同國家其公關專業的發展往往有所不同。然而,關於公關專業人員的核心能力研究並不多,其中對於跨國的比較研究更是相當稀少。因此,本研究打算以臺灣及英美國家的公關專業人員為對象,透過問卷進行調查,以了解臺灣與英美國家的專業公關人員,其對公關核心能力的看法,並進而比較與討論其異同。 在回收臺灣與英美國家共165份有效問卷之後,本研究經過因素與變異數分析之後,提出四個公關核心能力因素,並發現臺灣與英美國家之公關人員,對於策略執行能力以及外國語文能力這二個因素的重要性,認知程度有顯著差異,本研究最後也根據分析結果提出結論與建議。
Although the public relations (PR) of an organization is increasingly important, researches about PR core competencies are relatively few, especially about the cross-national comparison. Therefore this study first tries to clarify the meaning of PR core competencies through literature review and adopts a questionnaire from Sheng’s research to carry out a cross-national survey. Then, using factor analysis, we find out some factors to delineate the PR core competencies. After all, we compare the differences between respondents from Taiwan and other countries. Some suggestions will also to proposed at the end.
