現代社會生活的繁忙以及運動空間的不足,造成許多人有坐式生活或缺乏身體活動的現象,加上近年來教育部極力推廣民俗體育,更將民俗體育編入國中小體育課程教材之中,合併上述兩者,在諸多負重性身體活動中,民俗體育的「跳繩」運動是符合簡易學習、所需空間小、價格便宜也是老少咸宜的運動,然而在跳繩運動推廣的過程中,在時間及強度上如何安排才會對人體健康有效益,似乎缺乏相關文獻探討。本文從運動科學相關研究文獻出發,探討跳繩運動對人體健康的影響以及提供適當的跳繩運動強度,期待透過跳繩運動能改善現代人心肺適能及健康。
