題名:職業棒球觀賞動機量表之驗證

本研究旨在以Trail and James (2001)之量表理論架構為藍本,編製適合國人之職業棒球觀賞動機量表,研究主要探討量表之效度、信度與複核效化穩定性。量表初步中文內容,先經國內5位相關領域學者審核修正,再透過第一次驗證性因素分析調整而底定;正式施測對象為598位新竹棒球場之職棒觀眾,並隨機分為測定樣本與效度樣本;先以測定樣本,經驗證性因素分析,架構量表模型並確立整體契合度並檢驗量表聚合效度與區別效度,量表信度則分析內部一致性與平均變異抽取量;再加入效度樣本,以多樣本驗證性因素分析,複核效化檢驗量表之穩定性。研究結果發現編製21題、七構面之動機量表模型有良好之契合度,聚合效度及區別效度也良好,內部一致性、平均變異抽取量等分析顯示量表有良好之信度;複核效化檢驗顯示量表模型具有穩定性。總結:本研究發展之職業棒球觀賞動機量表有良好之信、效度以及穩定性,是一個符合實證的測量工具,後續研究人員可運用本研究所架構之量表進行相關研究。
The purpose of this study was to create a spectating motivation scale for Taiwanese professional baseball games by adapting Trail and James' (2001) instrument. The scale's validity, reliability and cross-validation were examined. The Chinese content of the scale was modified by five experts and a few adjustments were made according to a confirmatory factor analysis before study. The scale was further examined with 598 subjects from Chinese Professional Baseball League attendants in Hsinchu Ballpark. Subjects were randomly divided into two groups: calibration sample and validation sample. Confirmatory factor analysis was used with the calibration sample to construct measurement model. Validity was analyzed by model fit, convergent and discriminant validity; and reliability by internal consistency reliability and average variance extracted. The 21-item and 7-factor Spectating Motivation Scale for Professional Baseball Games was found having good model fit, convergent validity and discriminant validity. Internal consistency reliability and average variance extracted were beneficial. The measurement model can be cross-validated and shown good stability. In conclusion, the Spectating Motivation Scale for Professional Baseball games fits the empirical study and has good reliability, validity and stability. However, further studies are required in this regard.
