AIDS is one of the epidemic diseases in the world, the number of the infected people is increasing year by year. The research is to examine the spatial dimension of HIV anonymous screening in three Kaohsiung municipal hospitals. The researchers observed the spatial arrangements and evaluated the conditions of patient-friendly in the municipal hospitals. For the people who are voluntary to do HIV testing, the needs of security as well as privacy are crucial concerns. For those so-called high risk groups of AIDS, doing HIV testing should not be accompanied by forced coming out of their sexual identity. Thus, the present research aimed to see if there are any problems on the spatial design and on the location. Comparing with the teaching hospitals or medical centers, the researcher found that there are still some aspects which need to be improved in order to be more user-friendly.
