焦慮是影響運動表現的關鍵心理因素，而焦慮的水準受到運動員的專注力影響，若總是專注於負向的刺激，則可能造成過度焦慮而影響整體表現。這種總是專注於負向刺激的現象就是一種注意力偏誤，因此，探討運動員注意力偏誤（attention bias）對於瞭解與控制運動員的焦慮有其重要貢獻，然而，注意力偏誤在運動心理學界的探討很少，因此本文擬整理過去對注意力偏誤的四個重要理論模型，如認知動機理論、暫時性整合模型等，與情緒史楚普典範、點偵測典範、情緒視覺線索典範等三個基本典範的相關文獻，並從不同角度探討近年來的相關研究結果。並擬以此種觀點來建議未來的研究方向，希望結合注意力偏誤與競技運動領域的研究，達到減低運動員的焦慮水準，以期有助於提升他們的運動表現。
