視覺是主導個體對於外界活動的主要知覺系統，在競技運動賽場上，選手對於視覺訊息的處理能力和反應能力對於勝負影響甚大。本文旨在討論不同運動種類之選手所具備之視覺能力特性，另外也探討選手從事運動的經驗長短對於運動視覺的影響。其中開放式技能運動項目選手需要靈敏的周邊視力判斷隊友的跑位或對手的進攻，也需要精準的靜止視力來瞄準靶心，而肢體動作的協調性更需仰賴整體視覺能力的配合與控制，因此運動視覺在競技運動的選才與培訓中，是不容忽視的重要條件。然而，選手優秀的視覺能力並不完全來自於先天遺傳的生理優勢，後天的規律運動訓練以及反覆熟練運動技能皆會影響運動中視覺處理能力。

Vision, the main perceptual system of human being, guides our body movements to generate the activities.Visual information processing ability and reaction capacity are the imperative factors in sport excellence. This article is to discuss the characteristics of sport vision in specific sports and to explore the effects of sporting experience on the athlete’s sport vision performance. Athletes in open-loop sports need to detect the moves of teammates or opponents by the peripheral awareness. Clear visual acuity helps athletes to shoot the target in the right area. Furthermore, the coordination of body movement relies on the domination and control of the whole visual system. Therefore, the sport vision has become the critical element in the talent selection and skill training of the athletes. However, the advantage of great sport vision is not totally determined by genetics, but actually influenced by the regular training and repeated sport practices.
