因材施教的教學模式是老祖先幾千年前留傳下來的智慧結晶,本文對於桌球課程分層遞進教學模式的應用與實施,就是利用因材施教的教學原理,進行理論的分析與實務的分享,並在此基礎上,具體探討桌球課程分層遞進的教學實施策略,率先導出學生興趣、桌球技能及終身學習三者相輔相成的新思路,期能爲其它體育課程的發展,開啟帶動作用,培養學生的運動興趣以及持續維持學習動機,爲日後終身運動的習慣,奠定良好的基礎。
