Objective: This research aims to explore the correlation between Osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee and exercise. Methods: This research plans to collect, summarize, and organize relevant domestic and international research literature for further study and analysis. The content of the exploration and analysis will include the physiological structure of the knee joints, the causes and classifications of knee OA, the clinical presentations of OA, cautions to be taken during exercise for patients with OA, therapeutic exercise, and prevention of excessive use of the knee joints in daily activities. Results: this research show that exercise can achieve preventive and therapeutic effects for patients with OA. Conclusion: OA is not a disease to be feared. It is possible to minimize the impact of OA on personal physical and psychological well-being and improve the quality of life by maintaining a daily care routine, keeping a habit of exercise, and participating in therapeutic exercise.
