In the concept of traditional e-commerce there are still many problems, the major obstacle: the high threshold of managing the online store in management and technology, incomplete of transaction security, and the risk of information asymmetry. This research is mainly based on the coordinates model of the triaxial dimensions of e-commerce proposed by A.B. Whinston, D.O. Stahl, and S. Choi (1997), a new framework for the concept of an e-commerce -E-catalog commerce model, to try to resolve the incomplete of traditional e-commerce, and thus the establishment of an innovative service architecture -an extension of the commodity and service concepts. Traditional e-commerce systems are the web-based B/S system architecture, which often makes the barriers to entry are too high to achieve many success cases of online stories, and some managers of traditional physical channels fell difficult to practice prohibitive. Therefore a new framework of this research is to attempt to break this bottleneck, reducing the threshold of entering this field of management and techniques of products and services through the rich client mode of C/S by integrating physical and virtual place, as well as reducing the input costs of buyers and sellers, to create a shopping form of innovative services architecture via integration of traditional shopping, mail order, TV shopping, online shopping, and thus to enhance the quality of service. In order to solve this problem, we will establish an electronic catalog of best practice business systems based on the electronic catalog business model above. This system will consist two parts of front-end and back-office consisting. The responsibility of back-office is mainly for the design and development of electronic catalogs, as well as related service for order transaction advisory and management, based on interactive web systems constructed by Web standardization and RIA technologies. The part of front-end mainly for the diversification presentations of dynamic and static information in commodity and operations about business marketing and advertisement, is online or offline e-catalog, e-commerce or hybrid systems based on technologies such as Flash, XML and ActionScript with the framework of page flipping, to support service of cross-platform and cross-browser. Related to project management and software engineering documents will also be illustrated in the project.
