This essay sorted out the 92 wall-scribed poems of Huang, Ting-Chien of Sung Dynasty and concluded the wall-scribed site can be divided into generally four categories: pavilion and tower, mountain rock and stone wall, hall and garden, Taoist temple and wall. This essay attempts to investigate the characteristics of Huang, Ting-Chien's wall-scribed poems in terms of the propaganda content and creative words. To speak from the wall-scribed site and the propaganda content, the poems may deliver the friendly feeling on the poems at the pavilion and tower; while the poems written at the mountain rock and stone wall might describe the scenery and express feelings; while the hall and garden could be the place to write poems with a title to show one's intention, and the poems at the Taoist temple and wall are result of meditation and realization. As for the creative words, the plain language used in the poems would allow the general public to appreciate and understand them easily. To describe the emotion experienced by most people would arouse echo in their hearts. To recall the past events with deep feelings and make people on the alert by depicting natural landscapes such as mountains hoping to apply ancient ideas for today's reference with regard to the content and skill of propaganda writing at present.
