According to the Dun-Huang version of the "Catching Ji Bu", "the poem's speech is derived from the" History of Former Han", however by comparing Biology of Ji Bu in the "Record of Grand Historian" and "History of Former Han" we found that the content was almost from the "Record of Grand Historian" only to reduce some script, so we trace back the source to investigate Biology of Ji Bu in "Record of Grand Historian" as one of the research texts. The intertextuality theory is used to explore the intertextuality between Dun-Huang version of the "Catching Ji Bu" and Biology of Ji Bu in "Record of Grand Historian". Moreover, Dun-Huang version of the "Catching Ji Bu" is one of the representative of singing literature, belongs to the category of popular literature, in the other hand, Biology of Ji Bu in "Record of Grand Historian" belongs to literature of historical biology, so we also analyze innovation of the popular literature and the inheritance from the literature of historical biography.
