Due to western diet, imbalance adolescent dietary intake, and lack of exercise, 70% obese adolescents will become obese adults. If overweight adolescents can not be controlled in time, they will have a higher probability to have metabolic syndrome than ordinary people. According to the body mass index survey in 102 academic year, overweight and obese students accounted for 29% of the total 1545 students of the school. To increase the participation of the weight control program, diet and aerobics lectures, weight scales, pedometer were included in this program. The total number of students participated in these 9 weight control activities were 1124. 358 students participated weight measurement. 55.3% of them (198 out of 358) loss weight with a total mass loss of 210.7kg. The BMI ≧ 27 group had the highest weight loss percentage (76%) with a total mass loss of 26.5kg. On the other hand, the BMI ≦ 18.5 group gained weight by a total mass of 39kg. The BMI ≧ 24 group had more participants than two years ago (30 persons more). An average weight loss was 2.9 kg per person was obtained. According to the result of habit and behavior questionnaire, students' diet and lifestyle needed to be changed. The results of this study provide correct path for students to loss weight and improve their lifestyle.
