題名:成功聽障人士生涯歷程及其影響因素之探討

     本研究以臺北縣、市的三位成功聽障者為主要研究對象,目的在探討成功聽障人士在家庭、學校、工作、及社會等之生涯發展歷程,及影響生涯之因素。採用質的研究法,透過多次深入訪談、多人交叉驗証資料的方式蒐集主要資料,並將資料分析、歸納,發現結果如下: 一、成功聽障人士生涯發展歷程之特色 (一)溝通是聽障者最大的挫折來源,聽障者要能達到成功,最重要的是突破溝通上的藩籬。(二)扮演家庭生涯角色時,養成自立、堅毅的特質以學習未來角色任務,建立和諧的家庭。(三)在學校生涯中扮演學習者的角色時,能主動尋求學習管道;獨立面對學習衝擊與適應問題。(四)工作生涯中聽障者受到嚴重的挫折,毅力使其能面對工作困境。(五)扮演社會公民的角色時,成功聽障者不斷地從挫折中累積經驗,從而建立起自己的人生觀。 二、影響成功聽障人士生涯發展之因素 (一)個人因素: 「擁有自信、積極進取」是成功聽障人士肯定自己、激發努力動機的原動力。 (二)環境因素:1.重要他人對其生涯影響相當大,接納、關愛的態度,是培育個案積極、正向的人格特質與動機的重要因素;負面的拒絕、低期望等態度,會使得個案的生涯更加艱辛。2.社會大眾的接納態度是個案環境中壓力的主要來源,環境中的壓力,激發出個案堅強的意志力、積極的動機。
     The main subjects of this research were three successful hearing-impaired adults. The purpose of this study was to explore the process of career development in family, school, work, and various aspects of social life, and to find the individual and environmental factors affecting career development. A qualitative method was used in this study. Data was collected through depth interviewing, using traingulation method from persons to cross check the data. The main findings were as follows: 1.The major difficult5, and frustration of the deaf was in communication. Successful deaf persons developed positive interpersonal relationship, 2.When the successful deaf played the role as a family member, they could cultivate the waits of independence and perseverance to learn their future roles and responsibilities. 3.When They played the role as a learner, they actively found the way to learn, and faced others expection by themselves oneself. 4.The work career was the process in which the deaf confront the most serious frustration. When the deaf faced the difficulties, perseverance made them faced work difficulty. 5.When the deaf played the role as a citizen, it's difficult for them to get along well with people and to learn asbtract concepts. They continuously accumulated experiences from frustration. 6.Self-confidence and positive effort was the major motive which drove the successful deaf person to believe in them- selves and to work hard. They face frustration in learning and work, but solved problems. They set up their self-confidence and positive attitudes toward life. 7.Important persons, including parents, teachers, had great influence on the successful deaf person. Attitudes of receiving and caring were the most important factors in cultivating the positive traits and motive, negative attitudes such as refusal or low expection would make their career tough. Receiving attituds of the public were the major pressure of enviroment for the deaf. They got support and reception of heart form deaf associations.
