According to the framework of human resources management, this study was an attempt to explore the management of recruitment, evaluation, training and salary in Chinese professional baseball teams. Case study methods were employed to collect data by interviewing related persons of professional baseball teams. Based upon the collected data, the findings were depicted as follows:1.The organization of Chinese professional baseball teams has only a few levels. There is also an administration department that is directed by mother company. 2.The recruitment of players is decided jointly by head coach. director, and president of baseball teams. 3.Training and development of players are conducted by coaches group. 4.The evaluation of players was conducted by head coach, directors and president. The evaluation criteria include presence rate, hitting defense records, moral, and health. 5. A player's salary was decided referring to the hitting and defense records, image of players, and the contribution of players to the baseball team.
