為探討幼稚園課程對幼兒發展之影響,本研究比較分析目前臺灣幼稚園最盛行之 二種課程 (蒙特梭利與單元教學 ) 教師教育信念之異同。 期能提供幼教師資培育研究者深 入研究之方向,更可為決策者之參考。一般認為:教師角色為影響學前教育課程之主要因素 之一。為探討教師對課程所造成之影響程度,本研究對象為八位幼稚園教師,以 Miller 與 Dyer 所設計之問卷為研究工具,採用 Q 分類與單一多向度評量之統計方法進行分析。有關 研究顯示:教師個人過去身為學習者與教師之經驗,會引導其教育信念。此外,目前所使用 之課程型態亦影響其看法。研究結果顯示:有二個因素可以解釋以上二種課程教師信念 90% 之變異性。由因素一,可看出:不僅同一種課程型態之教師看法存在許多差異;同時,亦顯 示出;蒙氏教師與單元教師信念之不同。由前述文獻可知前者可能肇因於教師個人過去之不 同經驗,後者可能起源於目前所使用之課程型態,在部份理論上二者即存在相當大之差異所 致。然而,由這些教師一致同意與不同意之選項結果分析得知:二種課程之教師皆偏好自由 、以幼兒為中心之課程。 implementation of the program. The results indicated that there were two dimensions that could explain over 90% of the variance of teacher beliefs. Dimension one identified many differences between teachers within programs, but also separated the Montessori teachers from the Unit-Teaching teachers. As mentioned above, the former might due to teachers' different experiences, and the latter, different programs. However, from some commonly agreed-upon and disagreed-with statements these teachers selected from the Statement Form, it was demonstrated that teachers in both programs tended to favor a free, childcentered curriculum.
