本研究目的是探討影響先天缺陷兒母親們壓力源與因應行為之因素。藉由訪談之資料，經內容分析法加以歸類，分類為五大類壓力源，及三大類因應行為。再以單因子變異數分析、事後檢定及積差相關等進行分析，以討論可能之影響因素。 結果顯示：影響母親感受到的壓力源及因應行為之因素有下列數項：宗教信仰會影響母親對缺陷成因之想法：患孩為男性、開刀次數越多、醫療花費越多者，母親在社會互動方面之壓力源發生頻率愈高；患孩發展屬遲緩愈嚴重者，母親在患孩身體狀況方面之壓力源愈高；患孩發展遲緩愈嚴重者，母親必須採取較多之認知性及解決問題之因應行為。研究者並依研究結果及文獻討論各影響因素之意義，並提出對臨床護理及未來研究方向之建議。

　　　　　This exploratory, descriptive study examined factors affecting stressors and coping behaviors of mothers whose children had congenital defects . Secondary data from a previous study were analysed. The results indicated factors including religiours, the sex of children, the number of surgery, medical expenses and severe developmental delay had effects on the mothers' perceived stressors. The results also showed the mothers' whose children had developmental delay employed more cognitive coping behavious and problem-solving behaviors. The meaning of these factors were discussed in this paper. Recommendations for clinical practice and future research were also addressed.
