The purpose of this article is to focus on the military cooperation between the PRC and Russia in the post-cold war era. It first examines the concepts of the PRC's attitude towards the future wars. Secondly, it analyzes the four basic principles of the PRC's arms purchasing; and thirdly, it summarizes the content of the military cooperation between the PRC and Russia. The article points out that the real danger is not now but after five or ten years later. The trend of the military cooperation between Beijing and Moscow will affect the stability in the South China Sea.
